A Living, Breathing Story
The vision for Breathe Gaia was born in the forest during a morning of deep soul-searching. In a moment that day, I came to fully realize that the road I was on was not in alignment with the vision I held for my future. I was living from my head and not from my heart. My husband, best friend and soulmate, Billy, called it a “spiritual revolution.” And it was. From then on, my approach to life shifted from thinking through it to truly feeling through it. This is the kind of life-changing deep inner wisdom that nature immersion opens access to. I wanted to share this message with the world!
I went on to become a certified Shinrin Yoku guide and began sharing this healing modality through my creation and delivery of experiences that cultivate deep connection with self through the healing power of Mother Nature. My work has been a living prayer for a return to balance and with ourselves, with the Earth and with one another.
Fast forward to today— a new Chapter of Breathe Gaia is being birthed as I remain steadfast in the original values and beliefs that it was created upon. As a vessel for the living, breathing way that I am meant to carry my work into the world, Breathe Gaia evolves alongside me.
This new chapter began after attending my very first priestess-led sacred feminine ceremony- and I kept going back, new moon after new moon. Something was stirring in me. After a particularly potent outdoor ceremony, I recognized that I was being called to the path of the priestess and that I too was meant to lead ceremony. Deeply humbled, I applied to begin training for the role that I knew would become a lifelong devotion.
I had known early in my days as a forest therapy guide that I would gradually develop my work in a way that would guide participants into even deeper connection with self. And so beautifully synchronistically, I have come to know that that is a huge part of my role as Priestess.
After leading my own sacred feminine ceremony for the very first time, I felt destiny set into ecstatic motion. It was an absolute surreal experience and the feedback about the impact it had on those present was overwhelming. I felt that I had come into even deeper alignment with my life’s purpose than ever before.
Today, my work as Forest Therapy guide and as Priestess are merging. I continue to offer forest therapy sessions and, at the same time, I am moving into the role of teacher and guide of embodied earth wisdom which I am beginning to integrate into my work as well.
The evolution of Breathe Gaia has been a true adventure of the soul and I know it will continue to be. I am so deeply grateful for all the beautiful souls that have joined me along the way and for those I have yet to cross paths with. I have been overjoyed by it all and am so excited to share this new chapter with you. It is my hope and prayer that my work inspires a profound sense of connection with self, with others and with Mama Gaia herself.
